Attractive, deep colour with garnet and tawny tints. The nose is intensely aromatic and discloses notes of liqueur, coffee and red berries combined with notes of spice, Sichuan peppercorn, Madagascar vanilla and Ceylan cinnamon bark. The palate is rich, round and full-bodied with excellent length and combines strength and elegance. It works perfectly with a roast woodcock or deer stew.
